Faith-Based Coalition for the Global Fund sends Letter to Congress to Support FY23 Funding
On December 1, the Faith-Based Coalition for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria sent a letter signed by 200 faith leaders across the United States simultaneously thanking and urging their Congressional representatives to stay the course in this last year of the replenishment cycle for FY23 funding in the appropriations budget.
Deeply concerned with the wellbeing of our neighbors both here and around the world, faith leaders lift their voices in this letter to highlight these vulnerable populations worldwide as a way to celebrate the success of the Global Fund over the past 20 years, saving the lives of more than 50 million, yet pressing forward to end the pandemics of AIDS, TB, and Malaria by 2030.
