Faith-Based Coalition for the Global Fund Sends Letter to Congress to support FY22 + stimulus funding
On September 21, the Faith-Based Coalition for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria sent a letter signed by 194 faith leaders urging their Congressional representatives to consider robust international funding for the COVID-19 pandemic in the upcoming stimulus, including resources to mitigate the impact on those suffering from AIDS, TB, and malaria for the Global Fund. They also make an ask for continued flat funding for the FY22 appropriations budget.
Deeply concerned with the wellbeing of our neighbors both here and around the world, faith leaders from across the United States lift their voices in this letter to highlight these vulnerable populations worldwide during a season of global pandemic, just as they did in 2020.
